2019 Syrah

The 2019 vintage followed a drought-busting winter (later to be repeated in 2022-’23) and at the end of the season the grapes benefited from a lengthened hang time. This wine boasts wonderful fruit. The nose wafts forth with mulled black cherry, raspberry compote, cocoa and an undercurrent of anise, while the seamless palate adds a spice element around the edge of those flavors and the Grenache promotes a chocolate aspect.
