2014 Syrah

A quarter of the Syrah in 2014 was whole-cluster fermented and the wine enjoyed an especially long elévage. Now at a solid, sound plateau, it offers copious blackberry and dark chocolate enhanced by allspice, damp earth and an anise quality that has come to be a signature of this property. Deep, aromatic, and fulsome, this wine surprises even us in how it continues to improve with each passing year.
