2017 Syrah

Beginning with record rains and finishing in blazing heat, vintage 2017 especially favored the Grenache, which is evident on the ripe palate. Resiny black cherry, dried currants, plus traces of strawberry and anise in the wonderfully perfumed nose are joined by dark chocolate in the broad, fulsome mouth. Drink now and through the decade.
